Father Against Son !!

Adel Hammouda wrote this week in his tabloid newspaper that President Mubarak met with the NDP members in a conference in last Ramadan and that he told the following :
  • He will continue to rule till the last breath.
  • The circumstance of the region and its nature force the military to rule as the military can handle only these circumstances.
And he gave an example from Israel when it lost the Lebanon 2006 war in front of Hezbollah , during then the prime minister was a civilian “ Ehud Olmert” who did not have any military experience and that’s why Israel lost the war.

These statements if were true are very important because they indicate that Gamal Mubarak may not inherit the rule in the life of Mubarak , Mubarak is not convinced that Egypt should be ruled by a Civilian like his son or rather his son and Hezbollah won the war against Israel.
Forget the last point because it is not our issue here nor does that party awaits his recognition , the issue here shows us or makes us believe that Mubarak the father is against Mubarak the son !!4
Gamal Mubarak did not spent one minute in the army just like his elder brother Alaa unlike Al-Assad Clan , it seems Hafiz Al-Assad understood this very well !! Even if Bashar was not originally a military , his elder was and also younger brother is. It seems that Mubarak according to this statement it was true favors Omar Soliman over his son. Strangely lately his son and his men are speaking about how sweat and great the civilian role is !! Of course he forgot that the military rule was the one that brought him to what he is now !!
Gamal Mubarak does not only lack military experience but he also lacks a real political experience , he knew the politics of third world country which is based upon cheating in elections only and this can’t be real politics. This region and this country does not need a military man more about a real politician and that’s why when Egyptian people think in a real alternative to Mubarak and son , a civilian alternative they think in someone like Amr Moussa and Ahmed El-Baradei and when they think in a military alternative ,they think in Omar Soliman.
Of course I must hint out that Adel Hammouda is the student of Safwat Al Sharif , one of the main old guards in NDP are reportedly standing against the Neo-guards of Old Guards Vs. Neo-guardsGamal Mubarak who are led by Ahmed Ezz. Hammouda  always attacks Ezz fiercely in his newspaper still many experts say that Mubarak will not give the rule in his life.
These photos above “except the one with Ezz and Al Sharif” were taken for Gamal Mubarak on the 6th of October while  visiting the tomb of the unknown soldier and the tomb of President Sadat. It was noticeable that Mrs. Khadija Mubarak did not accompanied her husband unlike last year , of course dear Sand Monkey yesterday told us about a possible reason for her absence : She is in Germany right now !!  If this is true , well then people’s talk reaches to them , people have wondered long enough.

  1. Since I am not a resident of Egypt I do not know much about those persons. But what about Omar Soliman? Is he really related to the Army or can he be related to the business clan of Mubarak? Mubarak was in the army, but he has become a member of the businessmen clan. So what about it?

  2. I tend to believe the growing news of a rift between the papa and the son. I knw many view Mubarak in the worst ways possible but he is not the puppet to his son some news articles lead us to believe.

From what i heard, and if you are Egyptian you will know that hearsay carries so often the untold details :D el mohem i heard Omar Soliman is decent, religiously moderate or bey3raf rabena and not corrupt ya3ni edo nedefa. Sa7 ba2a wala 3'alt mesh hane3raf we el mohem eno yefdal kowaies. My mum was telling me when Mubarak first took over many ppl where happy bec he had a good reputation, was young and from the military which is crucial since Egypt was just out of 3 major Wars in a short time but I take it that now those who felt he was good mostly feel he changed.

Setting all this aside: Egypt needs someone who is not corrupt, believes in and understands the potentials of this nation and has A VISION.... YA Rab

  3. @Medsha, General Omar Soliman is a military man , he was the head of the military intelligence
According to all sources Soliman is not associated to businessmen clan like Gamal and that's why he is more popular even among Mubarak opponents

@anonymous, it is true about what you said regarding the General and Mubarak in his first days and I agree we need someone with a vision : Mohamed Ali had a vision , Nasser had a vision and Sadat had a vision but Mubarak !!!

  4. You and Sandmonkey tweeting at each other? Who would have thought? The religious hijab wearing Zaynab (that's if your profile is in fact true) and the alcohol consuming, degenerate, sex crazed Sandmonkey. Would make a hell of a wedding I tell you. Just think of the blogger/tweety offspring you two could have.

Your blogs are light and fluffy lately. Enough with the H1N1. Why feed the fake hysteria initiated by CNN, CDC and the pharmaceutical companies. Also, don't promise a post on Nouri Sharif and Khaled El Naga and then not do it. Bad journalism.
